In August 2014, MMP was in residency at Artspring Theatre on Saltspring Island to work on a touring version of ‘Speaking in Ligeti’ and a new work for solo dancer and solo cello called SONATA. Filmmaker and long-time MMP collaborator Clancy Dennehy suggested taking SONATA outside and filming it in the incredible beauty of the summer rainforest.
